Dreame T60 Ultra: tank-emptying notes for H15 Pro buyers

I cleaned a 120-square-metre home with my Dreame T60 Ultra and emptied its used-water tank twice; leaving it full stopped self-cleaning and drying.

Graphic featuring bold text on a light pink background warning buyers about the Dreame T60 Ultra, accompanied by a distressed peach sticker at the top right and a cartoon tuxedo cat at the bottom left.
A person holding the translucent dark grey water tank of a floor washer or wet-dry vacuum cleaner. A sticker on the side indicates two maximum fill lines, with a hand-drawn red circle and line highlighting the upper fill line and lower tank body.

The reason I consider it a bad buy is simple: its so-called ultra-thin design comes from sacrificing used-water tank capacity. Do not underestimate the importance of the used-water tank.

After I bought it, I looked at Figure 2. The section inside the red circle is its maximum used-water capacity, and it is genuinely very small.

My home is 120 square metres, and I had to empty the used-water tank twice. If I did not empty it, the machine reported during self-cleaning that the used-water tank was full and stopped automatically. Once self-cleaning stopped, the automatic drying that should follow did not happen.

If—and this is only a hypothetical—you finish mopping, put the machine back on its dock for self-cleaning, and then leave...

The next time you use it, you may find that self-cleaning was not completed and the brush roller was not dried. If you only empty the tank without opening the brush roller, you cannot tell whether drying happened, and the app does not give you a notification.

Can you guess how I found out how disgusting it can be to use the floor washer next time?

Used-water tank capacity is genuinely one of the easiest things to overlook when choosing a floor washer, but it has one of the biggest effects on the experience.

Models in your region

The owner does not provide a full regional model comparison beyond the China-market Dreame T60 Ultra. Dreame's current US store lists the related H15 Pro, also called H15 Pro Heat in its navigation, while its global English support material covers the H15 Pro FoamWash. Equivalence with the T60 Ultra remains unconfirmed, including tank capacity and app behaviour.

Regional model context

The owner's report is specific to one China-market T60 Ultra and one 120-square-metre home: the owner says the used-water tank needed emptying twice and that a full tank interrupted self-cleaning and the drying step. This is a useful usage warning, not proof of a universal fault or a confirmed result for another regional model.

The current US product page identifies the H15 Pro and lists heated floor washing, a robotic edge arm, lie-flat cleaning, brush self-cleaning and drying. Those listed features show a related Dreame wet/dry vacuum, but the T60 Ultra’s tank size, foam system, accessories, electrical configuration and app behaviour have not been matched to it.

What to check before buying

For a large home or a routine where you leave immediately after mopping, check the used-water capacity and the machine's response to a full tank before relying on unattended dock cycles. In the owner's account, a full tank stopped self-cleaning, and the owner says the app gave no drying notification; opening the brush roller was necessary to notice the missing drying.

The related H15 Pro FoamWash manual instructs users to empty a full used-water tank, requires the dock, sufficient clean water and more than 20% battery for self-cleaning, and says drying follows a completed self-cleaning cycle. It also advises emptying used water promptly and using only officially approved solution. These procedures apply to H15 Pro FoamWash, not verified T60 Ultra specifications or interruption behaviour.
