I kept it after three days

My conclusion after three days: I’m keeping it.

I already have a floor washer and a vacuum-and-mop appliance, so I bought this for high-pressure steam cleaning in the kitchen, around the hob and in awkward corners.

Don’t expect it to work miracles like the advertising videos! Heavy grease on the extractor hood needed a cleaning product too. But I didn’t need a particularly pungent chemical spray; citric acid or soapy water was enough. My guess is that with regular steam cleaning, I might not need cleaner later, unless things are very dirty or haven’t been cleaned for a long time.

I’m very happy with the results. A product only needs to meet my expectations in a few situations for me to keep using it.

Steam cleaning doesn’t save me a huge amount of time. It makes the work less strenuous, and it’s satisfying to watch the difference as I put in the effort. I also used it in bathroom tile joints, toilet crevices and other narrow gaps, with results I really liked.

The tank only needed heating for the first few minutes. After that, when I ran out of water, I could refill without another heating wait. Finally, the tool wasn’t slowing me down when I was in the middle of cleaning!

As I always say, there isn’t a magic appliance for lazy people. The people rewarded by these tools are the ones who actually use them.
