My Mongdio grinder: espresso flowed fast even at setting 1

I switched from a hand grinder for convenience, but espresso still flowed quickly at setting 1. I described the result and the ensuing return dispute.

I used a hand grinder before…

With 18 g of coffee, I got about 36–40 ml…

I wanted something more convenient, so I bought an electric grinder…

Even at the finest setting, setting 1, the coffee still flowed very quickly, producing 75 ml…

I contacted customer service, and they said the problem was my coffee machine.

Update: Customer service kept asking me to pay the difference for a higher-tier grinder and wouldn’t accept a return. They kept insisting the problem was my machine rather than a shortcoming of their product. This was outrageous!

The May 27 caption reports that customer service blamed the owner’s coffee machine and proposed a paid upgrade instead of a return.
