My OF HUNGER jewelry-style earphones: easy to wear, hard to keep looking new

I liked how easy my OF HUNGER jewelry-style earphones were to wear, but their oversized case, sound leakage and peeling finish changed my recommendation.

I bought these during the Double 11 sale two years ago because they looked good and were easy to wear. I loved them at first, and wiped them after every use. In the first month, a rhinestone on top fell off, and customer service replaced the pair. They broke again later and were repaired; after that, I kept using them. The longer I used them, the more drawbacks I noticed.

  1. They are too large. No protective case can fit over them, which makes them inconvenient to carry, and the surface of the earphone case scratches easily.
  2. They leak sound. They are described as bone-conduction earphones, but they leak sound as soon as I turn the volume up slightly. If I turn it down, I cannot hear them at all on the subway.
  3. The silver coating is poor quality. It loses its color and peels, exposing a copper-colored layer, so they no longer look attractive when I wear them outside. In this respect, ordinary white earphones are better because at least their color does not peel off.

So, if you are buying them for their appearance and will not wear them often, go ahead. If you plan to wear them frequently, I do not recommend them: they are impractical and the finish peels.
