Shokz OpenDots ONE E310: one earbud lost after 18 days
I lost one Shokz OpenDots ONE E310 after 18 days in a crowd; replacing a single earbud cost RMB 500, versus just over RMB 800 for the original set.
It lasted 18 days.
Shokz OpenDots ONE E310 clip-on Bluetooth earbuds.
They were clipped onto my ears, and I was probably bumped because there were a lot of people around.
It fell off immediately, and I did not feel a thing.
I contacted the official support account. A single earbud costs RMB 500, and a single charging case costs RMB 300.
Good grief—the whole thing only cost me a little over RMB 800. Paying RMB 500 for one replacement is no better than buying a new set.
I’m so fed up!

The owner identifies the product as the Chinese-market Shokz OpenDots ONE E310. The supplied official US page lists Shokz OpenDots ONE, but it does not establish that the US product is hardware-equivalent to the E310 or that its service coverage and replacement pricing apply to the owner's unit.

The owner's main trade-off: replacement cost
The owner says the earbud was lost after 18 days when it was clipped on in a crowded place, and that the fall was imperceptible. This is one incident rather than a general test of retention, but it shows the practical consequence of relying on a clip-on fit in busy surroundings.
For the owner's E310, official support quoted RMB 500 for one earbud and RMB 300 for one charging case. The owner compares the single-earbud price with an original purchase costing a little over RMB 800, making replacement feel economically close to buying another complete set. These are China-market E310 figures and should not be assumed for other regions.
What the US OpenDots ONE evidence confirms
The official US product page describes OpenDots ONE as clip-on open-ear earbuds with Dolby Audio, up to 10 hours of battery life per charge and up to 40 hours with the case. It also lists IP54 protection for the earbuds. Those specifications belong to the listed US product; the same specifications have not been confirmed for the Chinese E310.
Buyers outside the owner's market should verify the exact local model number, replacement-earbud availability and service pricing before purchase. The owner's RMB 500 quote is useful as a warning about the cost of losing one E310 component, but the US replacement price and availability of the same after-sales process elsewhere remain unconfirmed.
