My Blaupunkt slow juicer makes pulp-outlet cleaning a chore
Regional reference: Blaupunkt SJV601 (Europe)
I enjoyed the fruit and vegetable juice, but found wet pulp tucked inside the juicer and stuck in its small outlet, making cleanup frustrating.
What I got: tasty fruit and vegetable juice, and parts that seemed to need endless washing.
I didn’t expect it to be this hard to clean! Rinsing the surface until it looked clean wasn’t enough. When I looked closely today, I still found residue inside. I took it apart layer by layer, but rinsing didn’t remove the residue from the uneven parts, and even the small cup brush supplied with the juicer struggled to clean them. I bought a juicer and gave myself more work. The pulp outlet was especially difficult: pulp was wedged tightly in the small opening, and I spent a long time picking it out bit by bit. I can’t imagine how much bacteria might remain if it isn’t cleaned properly. I got excited after watching a few creators’ videos and ordered it; now cleaning it has me feeling down.

The owner’s Blaupunkt juicer is not identified by exact model number. Europe’s SJV601 is a related vertical slow juicer with a different documented filter design; the photographs here do not establish that it shares the Chinese unit’s parts or cleaning behavior.

The outlet is the owner’s main cleaning frustration
The owner found residue after a rinse that initially looked sufficient. Taking the Blaupunkt apart exposed uneven surfaces that the supplied small cup brush struggled to reach, plus a small pulp outlet that needed prolonged picking out. The photographs make those cleanup points visible.
The owner’s concern about bacteria is a worry, not a hygiene-test result. The useful buying question is whether the outlet and nested surfaces on the model under consideration can be opened and reached for washing.
SJV601: rinse promptly and check which parts go in the dishwasher
For the European SJV601, Blaupunkt calls for rinsing removable parts immediately after each use and letting them dry. Dried pulp can clog the fine filter pores and reduce effectiveness. The manual permits hot soapy water for removable parts and explicitly lists the lid, bowl, pulp container and juice cup as dishwasher-safe.
The SJV601’s filter needs careful handling, while its motor base is wiped with a damp cloth. Its reverse function is intended for stuck food: leave the switch in OFF for a few seconds before changing direction. Reverse operation does not replace dismantling and cleaning the filter.
The SJV601 is listed at 24 × 15 × 32.8 cm with a 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz supply. Allow room to separate, rinse and dry the parts as well as to stand the assembled machine on a counter. Its European electrical rating should not be treated as a US configuration.
