Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD: Two-Day Setup and App Notes

I’ve used the Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD for two days: setup was easy and I’m satisfied, but the app was confusing without a manual.

A compact robotic lawn mower operating on a sloped green grass yard, creating neat stripes across the lawn next to a residential house.
A freshly mowed green front lawn displays prominent mowing stripes across the grass. In the background, a residential street curves past houses, with a tree by the curb and a person walking in the distance.
A mobile app interface displaying real-time tracking for an autonomous robotic lawnmower named Carlson lawnmower Luba-VPED23EJ. A map shows two designated lawn sections, Area 1 in gray and Area 2 highlighted in green, where the robot mower is actively operating. Icons mark the RTK station and charging dock. A bottom control panel features a prominent Pause button and statistics showing 2% mowed out of a total 6156.96 square feet, 160 minutes remaining, and an elapsed time of 8 minutes.

After two days in service, I’m currently very satisfied. Setup was very convenient. The app isn’t very easy to use, mainly because there’s no instruction manual, so I don’t know where to find the various settings. However, the manufacturer’s default settings work well.

Models in your region

The owner identifies the mower only as the Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD and does not give an exact capacity, SKU, year revision or firmware version. The US and UK official listings below support a related-model comparison, but they do not prove that either regional listing has the same configuration as the owner’s machine.

What the two-day account establishes

The owner reports two days of use, convenient setup and current satisfaction. That is an early-use account rather than long-term testing, and it does not establish performance across different lawns, weather conditions or mowing schedules.

The owner found the app difficult mainly because there was no instruction manual and the locations of settings were unclear. Buyers should therefore treat the app-learning experience as a practical consideration, while keeping the comment tied to this owner’s early use rather than assuming every regional firmware version behaves identically.

Regional model and specification checks

Both official regional pages describe LUBA 2 AWD as an all-wheel-drive mower with a manufacturer-rated 80% or 38.6-degree slope capability and app-based multi-zone control. These are listed specifications, not results measured in the owner’s two-day experience.

The listed cutting-disc measurements differ in presentation: the US page gives 15.7 inches, while the UK page gives 400 mm. The owner’s exact capacity and configuration are not supplied, so buyers should confirm the local SKU’s area rating and cutting-height range before purchasing.

The current US and UK LUBA 2 AWD listings are marked sold out; the US page directs buyers toward LUBA 3. Availability and the exact replacement model therefore need checking in the relevant market rather than inferred from this owner account.

Setup, app use and identification limits

The owner’s positive setup comment suggests that initial installation felt straightforward to this user, but the same account describes difficulty locating app settings without a manual. Before buying, confirm what documentation and local app support accompany the specific regional product.

The source does not provide a full model number, capacity, purchase region or firmware version. That missing information limits direct comparisons with the current US and UK listings and means the owner’s app experience should not be used as proof of later-model automatic mapping or other software features.
