Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD vs YUKA mini: slope notes for YUKA mini 600H buyers
I found LUBA 2 AWD climbed better and mowed more clearly, while YUKA mini handled a small slope well but struggled on a steeper yard.
LUBA climbs slopes better, and its mowing is faster and noticeably better.
YUKA mini is more suitable for a level yard. The yard in the first picture could not be climbed by the mini; it would sometimes get stuck, and people often had to rescue it. The small slope in the second picture was handled well by the mini.
Personally, I do not think the yard size is very important, because both of them return to recharge by themselves.
Personally, I think the main difference is whether the backyard has a large slope. If there is no slope, the mini is completely sufficient.

The owner compares a Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD with a YUKA mini on a steeper yard and a smaller slope, without providing measured grades, exact capacity SKUs, generations or firmware details. The regional references below are related official listings, not confirmed matches for the owner’s machines.
| Model in this review | Related regional model | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD | Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD (2025 listing) (US) | The current US listing describes an all-wheel-drive LUBA 2 AWD rated for slopes up to 80% or 38.6 degrees, but the owner does not provide the exact area-capacity SKU or year revision, so the listing is a related reference rather than a confirmed equipment match. |
| Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD | Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD (current series listing) (UK) | This UK listing represents the same LUBA 2 AWD series and drive layout discussed by the owner. It lists an 80% or 38.6-degree rated slope capability and a 400 mm dual cutting disc, but the source does not establish the owner’s regional SKU, cutting height or firmware. |
| Mammotion YUKA mini | Mammotion YUKA mini 600H / 800H (US) | The current US listing covers YUKA mini 600H and 800H versions with rear-wheel drive and up to 50% or 27-degree slopes. The owner does not identify the generation, capacity or cutting-height SKU, so neither H version is confirmed as the tested machine. |

- Mammotion YUKA mini 600H / 800H (US)
- What to know
- The current US listing covers YUKA mini 600H and 800H versions with rear-wheel drive and up to 50% or 27-degree slopes. The owner does not identify the generation, capacity or cutting-height SKU, so neither H version is confirmed as the tested machine.
Slope choice matters more than the owner’s yard-size impression
The owner’s practical dividing line is slope: LUBA 2 AWD climbed the steeper area better, while YUKA mini handled the smaller slope but sometimes became stuck on the steeper yard. This was an observational comparison without a measured grade, so buyers should not treat it as a quantified slope test. The current US and UK LUBA 2 AWD listings rate the series for up to 80% or 38.6-degree slopes, while the US YUKA mini H listing rates up to 50% or 27 degrees; rated limits are specifications, not a guarantee for every surface or layout.
For a relatively level garden, the owner considers YUKA mini sufficient. That conclusion comes from the owner’s gardens and does not confirm performance for every YUKA mini version. The official US listing covers both 600H and 800H, and the source does not identify which capacity or generation was used.
Recharge helps coverage, but does not remove capacity limits
The owner notes that both machines return to recharge automatically, which reduces the importance of completing the whole yard in one charge during this comparison. However, automatic return-to-charge does not eliminate the product’s rated area capacity. The current US YUKA mini listing assigns the 600H to 0.15 acre and the 800H to 0.2 acre, so buyers still need to match the local SKU to the total mowing area.
The source does not provide LUBA 2 AWD’s exact area-capacity SKU, and the official regional pages identify different model-listing details rather than confirming the owner’s unit. Check the area rating, regional cutting-height options and current availability for the specific purchase before using the owner’s recharge observation to judge coverage.
Mowing result and identification limits
The owner reports that LUBA mowed faster and produced a more noticeable result, but gives no timing, area, grass condition or repeat-test measurements. The photographs and video show a robotic mower working on grass with visible striping, but the media alone does not establish which model produced that result or prove comparative performance.
The owner names only LUBA 2 AWD and YUKA mini. Because the exact regional model, capacity, generation and firmware are unknown, the official US and UK specifications should be used for product selection only after confirming the local listing and configuration.
