Midea 6521 Pro: crisp-food and sticking notes for MSA11D9ABB and MAF112B0BPKW buyers

I use my Midea 6521 Pro almost daily for our family of four. Coated foods came out especially crisp in the deep-fry-style mode, with little lingering kitchen smell after fish or meat. I soak the stainless-steel basket after meat sticks.

Almost daily use after a month

Overall, I’m very satisfied. I’ve used it more than I expected—almost every day—but there are a few details to be honest about.

The good parts

After a month, I think it’s much better than my previous air fryer. After frying fish or grilling meat, hardly any smell seems to linger in the kitchen. That’s particularly noticeable in summer, when I don’t open the windows as much.

The deep-fry-style mode gives me a crispness my ordinary old air fryer couldn’t achieve. Coated pork bites, chicken wings and typhoon-shelter-style prawns feel genuinely close to deep-fried food. Not having to turn them is convenient too.

The 6.5 L capacity is just right for our family of four. We don’t need batches; at the weekend, I can cook a main and sides together.

The stainless-steel basket feels tougher than a coated one. I’ve scrubbed it with steel wool and it still looks new. The upper self-cleaning function also seems useful: when I open it to look, there’s hardly any grease.

What could improve

Meat does stick a little to stainless steel, so I spray oil first and soak it afterwards. I accept that, but it’s an extra step compared with nonstick.

The body is also slightly bigger than I expected. Measure first if you have a small kitchen, although I think the size is reasonable for 6.5 L.

If you’re like me—sensitive to lingering smells, keen on crisp food, cooking for several people and concerned about materials—I think this model is really worth it.

Midea China’s MF-KZC6521 listing confirms a dual-window, upper/lower-heater product at 220 V and a rated 2000 W. The listing covers MF-KZC6521; the owner’s complete model number is unknown, so these specifications may differ from their appliance.

Choosing for everyday use

When comparing the owner’s Midea 6521 Pro with MSA11D9ABB (US) or MAF112B0BPKW (UK), think about the meal you cook most often. The owner says the reported 6.5 L capacity meets their family’s needs; the documented US and UK two-zone layouts organise food differently and need their own cooking and cleaning assessment.

The owner identifies the machine as 6521 Pro in the post’s hashtags. Midea’s linked page lists MF-KZC6521, with no Pro suffix. Ask for the full model number and dimensions of the Pro before planning your counter space.

The low lingering smell is the owner’s subjective comparison in one kitchen. The post supplies no emissions test or controlled ventilation comparison. Similarly, the owner finding little grease buildup when opening the top is useful visual feedback but doesn’t establish that every internal area has been cleaned.

Sticking and soaking are the clearest cleaning trade-off. Decide whether that extra work suits your routine, and follow the exact insert’s care instructions before adopting the owner’s steel-wool method.

The post includes Midea-related hashtags, including a replacement-service slogan. It does not establish a paid relationship or the service conditions available in another country.
