Midea dual-window air fryer: first-week cleanup notes for MSA11D9ABB and MAF112B0BPKW buyers
After a week with my dual-window Midea air fryer, I love watching food cook without opening it. Cleaning grease off the stainless steel takes more work.
A week with the dual-window Midea
I was looking for an air fryer with heat from above and below, so I wouldn’t need to turn food. This Midea also had stainless-steel parts, which I felt were safer, a deep-fry-style mode and, mainly, a look I liked, so I bought it.
After a week, the heating feels powerful. Sweet potatoes, chicken wings and fish have all come out very well. I’d like to try bread next.
I particularly like the large viewing window and the internal light. I can see the food without pulling out the basket.
The cleaning trade-off
Grease is definitely harder to remove than from a nonstick coating. But I chose it because I wanted an uncoated surface and didn’t want to worry about a coating ageing or coming off. I hope that means I can use it longer; it depends on your priorities.
I’ve been scrubbing it directly with steel wool. Some grease after cooking meat was still difficult to shift, so I sprinkled on baking soda and left it for a while before scrubbing again. That made the cleaning effort acceptable for me.

Models in your region
The owner uses a Midea air fryer with two viewing windows and a single basket. The US and UK products below offer a different layout; they are alternatives, not confirmed regional versions of this appliance.

Midea China’s MF-KZC6521 listing confirms a dual-window, upper/lower-heater product at 220 V and a rated 2000 W. The listing covers MF-KZC6521; the owner’s complete model number is unknown, so these specifications may differ from their appliance.
Choosing for everyday use
Basket layout is the main difference between the owner’s Midea dual-window air fryer and the MSA11D9ABB (US) and MAF112B0BPKW (UK) alternatives. The owner’s air fryer uses a single cooking basket, while the regional alternatives divide food between an upper basket and lower oven. That affects meal planning and the shapes of food that fit.
The owner does not supply a complete model code. Midea China’s MF-KZC6521 specification describes a separate dual-window model with heating from above and below. It does not identify the owner’s exact product, establish that every photographed surface is uncoated or confirm identical materials.
The owner’s one-week cooking result is positive, while bread remains a planned trial. Their belief that stainless steel is safer or will last longer is a purchase preference, not a materials or durability test. The cleaning trade-off is more concrete: they found baked-on grease harder to remove than on nonstick cookware.
Check cleaning instructions for the exact basket and insert before using steel wool or an abrasive cleaner. The owner’s routine should not be transferred to a US or UK model with different coatings or parts.
