My MOKKOM vertical juicer clogged while I juiced celery

Regional reference: MOKKOM PT-030A cold press juicer (United States); MOKKOM MK-199 (Hong Kong)

My MOKKOM vertical juicer clogged on celery. Reverse did not shift the pulp, and it partly clogged again after I took it apart, washed it and reassembled it.

Don’t buy a MOKKOM juicer!

This happened to me firsthand, and I won’t accept any arguments to the contrary. Don’t believe me? Buy one and try it yourself.

After seeing people share their celery-juice check-ins, I was tempted too, so I promptly bought a MOKKOM juicer. I blame myself for not looking at juicer reviews first.

Here’s the point: I washed three stalks of celery—not three bunches. By the time I had juiced one, the pulp outlet was blocked. I tried pulling the pulp out by hand, but it wouldn’t budge, and pressing reverse did nothing. I thought feeding in more celery might push it through, but I was kidding myself: the pulp didn’t move at all. Fine—I took it apart, washed it, put it back together and kept juicing. It clogged again, this time partly. MOKKOM, you’ve opened my eyes. I’m going to ask customer service for a return; if they refuse, I’ll keep complaining until they deal with it. I can’t just sit here feeling upset about it.

What the celery test establishes

The owner reports that the pulp outlet clogged while juicing the first of three washed celery stalks. Pulling out the residue and using reverse did not clear it; feeding in more celery also failed. After taking the machine apart, washing it and reassembling it, the owner encountered another partial blockage. This is one reported juicing session, not evidence that every unit or celery preparation will clog.

The owner wanted to request a return and said they would complain if refused. The post does not provide a return decision or a diagnosis of the blockage.

Related MOKKOM designs and electrical ratings

The Hong Kong MK-199 retailer page describes a large feed opening, yet some of its translated owner reviews advise chopping celery and kale to avoid blockage at the pulp outlet. That helps explain the preparation question to raise when choosing this kind of vertical juicer. It does not identify the pictured machine as an MK-199.

The US PT-030A listing gives a 120 V, 150 W supply; the Hong Kong MK-199 page gives 220 V, 200 W and a British three-pin plug. Those are different named products and electrical configurations. Match the instructions and return terms to the actual local listing rather than transferring the source owner’s Chinese-market purchase experience.
