Why I wanted easier summer cooking
I’ve found that once summer arrives, I increasingly like using a pressure cooker to make easy, low-effort dishes. I don’t have to stay in a stuffy, overheated kitchen the whole time, and by mealtime, there’s still a delicious spread of food on the table. Although everyone knows pressure cookers are useful, many people only dare to look at them from a distance and never actually use one, because they have an instinctive fear of them. They think pressure cookers are dangerous and difficult to operate, so they’re afraid to use them.
But in fact, a good pressure cooker doesn’t add to your mental burden. The Supor programmable pressure cooker I’ve been using recently even made it easy for me, as a beginner, to earn my pressure-cooker license. I’m officially certified now, so there’s nothing to worry about.
Preset menus for chicken, meat and soup
In the past, I had to look up tutorials before using a pressure cooker, and research how long to pressure-cook each ingredient. I was already exhausted before I even started. But Supor’s programmable pressure cooker has smart menus. There are dedicated modes for chicken, duck, meat, soup, porridge, and more. You just choose what you want to eat, which is incredibly beginner-friendly. For example, today I’m making scallion-oil chicken legs. I just select the mode, and it has a preset cooking time, so I don’t have to look anything up. It’s so convenient.
Seeing pressure and receiving reminders
Actually, many people are afraid to use pressure cookers because they’re scared of not knowing what’s happening inside. It feels completely like a mystery box. But with Supor’s programmable pressure cooker, the pressure is visible, and it has a thermal sensor inside. Even if you hear the steam being released, as long as the pressure value on the display is normal, there’s no need to be afraid. It also gives an alert when the pressure is abnormal, which is much more reassuring for cooking beginners or anyone who wants to try a pressure cooker.
Its timed reminders are another great feature. It reminds you to turn down the heat once pressure has built up, and reminds you to turn off the heat when cooking is finished. You don’t have to stand beside it the whole time. You don’t have to keep watch nearby, which makes cooking so much easier.
Bottom venting and the pressure claim
The 18-layer safety protection is also very thorough. The bottom-venting design works with a condensation reservoir to collect the cooking liquid. You don’t have to worry about being burned by steam as you might with top venting, and the stovetop stays clean after cooking. Based on 32 years of research, Supor’s 100 kPa “golden” pressure means that a regular pot would need to simmer for one to two hours. This cooker gets it done in just 10 minutes. The texture is even better too: tender and infused with flavor without falling apart, never dry or tough, and soft enough for chopsticks to slide right in.
Water lines, locking and releasing pressure
In summer, I also love making braised dishes. The inner wall of the pot directly marks the corresponding water-level lines for different ingredients.

This helps prevent dry cooking or overflow, so beginners can use it with confidence. The twist-lock design has no slots to line up, so unlike a traditional pressure cooker, you don’t have to spend time positioning the lid. It’s very convenient to use. Once the indicator dot drops, pressure release is complete and you can open the lid. The pressure helps the ingredients absorb flavor quickly, and the braised meat comes out incredibly fragrant. Put it in the refrigerator, and when you want to eat it, just take it out for an effortless perfect dish to enjoy with drinks.
There’s also a summery fresh-milk peach gum and lotus seed sweet soup. Put everything straight into the pot, select the soup-and-porridge mode, and wait quietly for a little over ten minutes. Your sweet soup is ready.
5 L capacity and stainless-steel cleaning
There are also some details I really like. Add a pot lid, and it instantly becomes a soup pot. The large 5-liter capacity is enough for a larger family. It’s acid-resistant and scratch-resistant, food doesn’t stick to it, and it’s fairly easy to clean every day. It’s also fairly easy to clean every day.
Why the cooker felt easier to use
I think good cookware shouldn’t make cooking more difficult; it should help us simplify complicated tasks. Everyone knows Supor is an authority when it comes to pressure cookers. This programmable pressure cooker makes operation simple and intuitive. With visible safety features and the brand’s many years of accumulated expertise, it’s no wonder Supor is confident enough to issue everyone a pressure-cooker license. Now I’m a fully grown adult who knows how to operate a kitchen powerhouse.
