My TIMEMORE 激流 / Crystal Eye VECTOR: a first brew and bare-metal look
Reviewed: TIMEMORE Crystal Eye VECTOR Dripper, TIMEMORE x Matt WintonRegional reference: TIMEMORE x Matt Winton Crystal Eye VECTOR Dripper (United States)
I removed the black sleeve and base for a cleaner look, then brewed 15 g in three pours over 1:50; the flow and flavor seemed ordinary.
My TIMEMORE x Matt Winton Crystal Eye VECTOR dripper arrived today. The dripper feels solid and has a strong industrial look, like a turbocharger. I don’t like the black sleeve or plastic base; they make it less attractive, so I’m using it without them now. Just be careful not to burn your hand on the handle.
I tried one brew: 15 g of coffee, three pours, and 1 minute 50 seconds. The flow was about average, and the flavor didn’t stand out. But it’s inexpensive!

The sleeve changes the handling trade-off
Removing the black parts gave the owner the exposed-metal look they preferred. TIMEMORE describes the ABS sleeve as insulation and a cool grip, so that appearance choice also removes a feature designed for handling hot brews. The source warns about the handle but reports no temperature measurement or burn.
