TP-Link Deco Wi-Fi 7: Cat 6A rewiring notes for Deco BE95 buyers
I bought 50 metres of Cat 6A cable and rewired my Deco Wi-Fi 7 setup myself. Replacing the cable and terminating the sockets finally gave me a wired mesh.
Replacing the cable myself for wired mesh finally “cured this old guy’s OCD.” I bought 50 metres of Panduit Cat 6A cable, and it is more than enough for setting up a 10Gbps home network. I replaced the cable and terminated the network modules myself, and my Deco Wi-Fi 7 finally formed a wired mesh.

Models in your region
The owner identifies the system only as TP-Link Deco Wi-Fi 7 and does not give a full model number. Deco BE95 is therefore a regional comparison product rather than confirmed identification of the owner's hardware; the US and UK versions each provide two 10Gbps connections and two 2.5Gbps ports per unit.

What the owner changed
The owner reports buying 50 metres of Panduit Cat 6A cable, replacing the household cable and terminating the network modules personally. The owner describes the cabling as more than sufficient for a 10Gbps home network, and the Deco Wi-Fi 7 system finally used wired rather than wireless mesh backhaul. The post does not document a controlled speed test or establish the performance of a particular Deco model.
How to wire a Deco mesh
For a Deco system, configure the nodes in the Deco app before connecting Ethernet backhaul. In Router mode, satellites can connect downstream from the main Deco directly or through a switch; in Access Point mode, satellites can connect to the upstream router. This provides a wiring sequence to follow when reproducing the owner's setup.

The owner's cable replacement establishes the intended wired path, but cabling alone does not demonstrate a 10Gbps negotiated link. Check the ports used and the negotiated rate, because the link speed depends on the connected hardware and path rather than the Cat 6A label alone.
What the regional BE95 comparisons offer
The US Deco BE95 is specified as a quad-band BE33000 Wi-Fi 7 mesh system with two 10Gbps WAN/LAN connections, including one RJ45/SFP+ combo, two 2.5Gbps ports per unit and USB 3.0. Its aggregate wireless rating is not a single-client speed or an internet-throughput guarantee, so it should not be used to reinterpret the owner's claim about suitability for a 10Gbps home network.
The UK Deco BE95 likewise lists two 10Gbps connections, including an Ethernet/fibre combo, and two 2.5Gbps ports. Actual speed requires a compatible client, suitable cabling and a matching service plan, so buyers should check all of those components.
Firmware and purchase-region caution
Because the owner's SKU and purchase market are not stated, buyers should match firmware to the device's purchase region and hardware version. TP-Link warns that using the wrong firmware can damage the device and void its warranty; this matters when comparing imported and locally sold Deco units.
