TP-Link Deco BE9300 Japanese version: first-use notes for Deco BE65 and Deco BE63 buyers

I connected the Japanese TP-Link Deco BE9300 before the holiday and found its wireless speed surprisingly higher than wired, while 6 GHz connected at the stated width.

It finally arrived before the Lunar New Year. The design is practically a work of art; compared with the domestic TP-Link version, it feels like products from two different eras. Surprisingly, the wireless speed test was faster than the wired one, and 6 GHz connected successfully at what I called 320Hz.

The owner identifies the product as the Japanese TP-Link Deco BE9300, but the photographs do not reveal a complete hardware model or revision. Japan’s official BE65 is a BE9300 tri-band Wi-Fi 7 product, yet the shared speed class does not confirm that it is the owner’s exact unit. The UK BE65 and US BE63 are related regional products, not proven relabels of the source hardware.

What the speed impression shows

The owner reports that a wireless speed test exceeded a wired result, but gives no test device, wired link speed, wireless band, network layout, or benchmark conditions. Treat this as a first impression from one comparison rather than evidence that wireless performance will generally exceed wired performance.

The source’s successful connection is described as “6G 320Hz.” Official regional information uses 6 GHz and a 320 MHz channel width instead. That width requires compatible client hardware and, depending on the market, permitted regional channels, so a buyer should verify client support and local availability rather than reproduce the wording literally.

Choosing a local model

In Japan, the official Deco BE65 is identified as a BE9300 tri-band Wi-Fi 7 product, but the owner’s unreadable full label leaves the exact match unresolved. Buyers who need the same hardware should confirm the SKU and revision with the seller instead of relying on the BE9300 speed-class name alone.

UK buyers can compare the official BE65, which is listed with combined theoretical rates up to 9,214 Mbps, 6 GHz support up to 320 MHz, and 2.5G ports. US buyers have the BE63 as the local reference, but its different name and speed class mean the Japanese owner’s observations should not be transferred as tested results.
