PETKIT MAX2: changing my mind after ten days, with PuraMax 2 buying context
I left a positive PETKIT MAX2 review for a gift, then changed my mind after over 10 days. Missed clumps and an irritating deodorizer became hard to ignore.
I had been using this cat litter box for more than 10 days before realizing how impractical it was. At first, because I could receive a gift, I chose to leave a positive review; after using it for a while, I discovered the product's hidden problems.
The litter box often fails to filter completely
Within these 10 days, there were two occasions when my cat's urine clumps and feces clumps were not cleaned up properly.
- The deodorizing block is particularly difficult to use and has an irritating smell.
- Small clumps often remain in the litter, which can make bacterial growth especially likely now that summer is here. After I contacted the seller, they told me to buy another filter panel, and later sent me one for free.
- Because the litter box is very small, although my cat weighs only 12 jin, or about 6 kg, feces are often carried out of the box. When I first contacted customer service, they again told me to buy an accessory. In general, many of the problems with this product could be avoided, but the product design is imperfect, and the seller is trying every way to get consumers to spend more on additional accessories. Also, if you have many problems during use and want to return the product for a refund, depreciation and various other fees will be deducted. The litter box I used was the PETKIT MAX2. I have not used any of the brand's other series, so this warning applies only to this product.
